How the Palarena Intermediation Service Works
Version 2026-10-14 — effective October 14, 2026
1. Seller and Palarena’s role
The professional Club identified in the offer sells and provides the sports service. It sets the service’s characteristics, prices, availability, access rules and cancellation rules.
Palarena provides the software, connects users and supplies the technical payment interface. Stripe processes payments directly for the Club; Palarena does not sell the sports service and does not operate its facilities.
2. Remuneration and ranking
Palarena is remunerated by the Clubs’ software subscriptions and add-ons. Palarena charges no commission on their sales and no fee to the player. Stripe invoices its own services to the Club.
Clubs are ranked in order of increasing geographical distance from the search point. The selected filters, in particular sport and availability, determine which results are eligible without changing this order. At equal distance, the order is stable. Final availability is checked in the offer.
Active access to the software is a condition of publication; the amount or billing frequency of the subscription does not influence the ranking. No Club can buy a better position. There is neither a sponsored offer nor any sports offer sold by Palarena in competition with the Clubs.
3. Listing and suspension
To publish, a Club must be authorized to offer its sports services, have active access to the software, provide accurate seller and offer information, its terms of sale and its mediator, and comply with the Professional Agreement, sports rules, consumer rights and data protection. Online payment requires the corresponding Stripe capabilities.
Palarena may request supporting documents, refuse an incomplete publication or limit an offer in the event of a breach, unlawful content, fraud, a past-due payment, loss of the necessary capabilities or a safety risk. The reasons, notice periods, exceptions and means of contesting follow the Professional Agreement. The obligations linked to orders already concluded remain.
4. Access to data and complaints
The Club accesses the data necessary for its own operations and customer relationships, without access to the player’s relationships with other Clubs. Palarena processes the data necessary for the platform-wide service, for security and for its obligations, as set out in the privacy policy.
For the sports service, contact the selling Club; for the technical service or to contest a listing decision, contact contact@palarena.com. The Club’s mediator appears in its terms of sale. The remedies provided by law remain available.
5. Players suggested in Partners
Partners suggests players of the same sport whose profile is visible, within the radius chosen around your city, from 1 to 100 km. The filters you choose, for example level, hand, side, playing goals or tournament categories, exclude players who do not match them without changing the order of the others.
By default, players are ranked by a compatibility score that takes into account, in order of importance, the level gap, the distance between your cities, shared playing goals and complementary playing sides. It uses neither age nor gender. Players whose level is very far from yours come last; those whose score cannot be calculated, for lack of sufficient information, are interspersed with the others. With equal scores, the closest comes first, then the one who saved their profile most recently. You can also sort by play dates in common, by distance, by closest level or by putting the players you follow first; in case of a tie, the default order applies.
No player can pay to be ranked higher.
